UH BECOMES GAME PRESERVE FOR CRIMINALS

.
THE UNIVERSITY OF HAWAII LETS HOODS RUN WILD

BORN FREE, AS FREE AS THE WIND BLOWS, ALL YOUR STUFF IS FREE TO THEM, LA-LA LA-LA-LA LA-LAAAH!

That Would Include Your Sex And Your Life If They Want To Take It

Hawaii's only State university has no real security whatsoever. One of their rentacops was beaten and robbed right on his own post the other day. You can sail right through the college gates and cruise around all day with no question, unless you park illegally: Then they'll tow you, even if you're a student. If you're a violent criminal, eh, no probs, brah!

If you want to rob, assault, rape or kill someone, it's open season there all year round. The UH Manoa, in a wealthy section of Honolulu on the south shore of Oahu, has become the hunting ground of choice for Hawaii's crooks, the largest group of thieves in the nation. Bus lines run right around and through the wide-open campus day and night, carrying thugs from everywhere on the Main island right into the vulnerable institution of higher learning. The criminals know that there are virtually no patrols by either the Honolulu Police Department or the Hawaii State Sheriff's Department. It's a cop-free zone. Not that it matters.

Even off-campus, Hawaii has one of the highest rate of robberies and burglaries in the nation: Proportionally more than New York or Los Angeles, Newark or Oakland, Detroit or Houston, Miami or Chicago. Most of the property crimes victimize tourists, but locals are feeling the pain now too. The highest crime areas on Oahu, the most populous island in the chain, are the major hotel and shopping areas, and the wealthiest neighborhoods. "Haoles" and foreigners are targeted, students and Japanese tourists are easy prey. Law enforcement officers do little or nothing, criticizing victims for "being in the wrong place at the wrong time," "carrying valuable jewelry and electronics," and "tempting local people by having cash."

Crime reports are discouraged: "We're not gonna catch them now," "You're never gonna get your stuff back," "You'll be long gone before this ever comes to trial," "The courts' gonna let 'em go anyways," "They never do time," "They'll just target you if you testify," "The police cannot protect you 24/7," "Why are you reporting this," "Are you just trying to get someone in trouble," "Are you lying," "Would you be willing to take a lie detector test," "Do you have any warrants outstanding," "Gotta check up on you first," "Are you Local," "Do you have any proof like pictures or recordings," "Too busy to do the paperwork right now," "Paperwork takes hours," "You have to go downtown to file an official report," "You're in the wrong place," "We're closed," "No can."

The attitude of many "Local" people is that anything that isn't nailed down is fair game. If somebody has something you want, just take it, it's OK. If they have more than you to begin with, it's only fair, they probably deserve to get ripped off. Especially if they're black, white, from Asia, the Mainland, tourists or military. Not only do many "Locals" not care if these people get assaulted or robbed, some even applaud it. Is it any wonder the crime rate is so disproportionately high? Is it any surprise that the cops simply don't care? Nobody does. Just having something, anything, makes you a legitimate target. Eh, you asked for it, braddah! Be humbo no grumbo!

This apparently applies even to uppity "Locals" who show they "tink you betta dan me," the worst possible crime in "Local" society. You know, students, strivers, hard-working people struggling to better themselves, rocking the "Local" boat. The idea that anyone here might bust their ass for a better life, and then attempt to enjoy it, just infuriates many of these "Local" losers. It makes them feel like, well, losers, which is what they are. So it's totally OK to strike out at anybody who is doing better than you, even if they just look like they're doing better, you know, like, by going to college, having a good job or being a different color. That's our system of reverse-apartheid here in the Aloha State.

"Local," by the way, means "not white or black or oriental." Even if you're "Fresh Off the Boat," you're "Local" if your ass is the approved shade of brown: Not too light, not too dark. Doesn't matter if you're even from anywhere around the Pacific, or whether you speak English or any Polynesian language: You're brown, you're "Local," until proved otherwise: Mexican, Portuguese, Egyptian, Pakistani, Indonesian, or just really really tan. If you're not the approved shade, even if you're Hawaiian, born here, ancestors buried here, going back centuries, you can never be "Local," until you can prove it, by connection to someone who is the "right" color. Although you are welcome to put on your pidgin, wear a coconut hat, fake the hula and curse "da fockin haoles," for a few "Local" points; you'll still be judged by your skin color.

So, don't send your kids to college here. If you live here, send your kids someplace nice on the Mainland, where they can get a real education. If you leave them here, they will become human prey on any campus of the University of Hawaii system. And nobody cares.
