RED STATE YELLOW BELLIES

.
WASHINGTON REPUBLICANS VOTE AGAINST THEIR HOME STATES

CONSERVATIVES FEAR REPUBLICAN CORPORATE MEDIA & PARTY BACKLASH

Their Constituents Would Have Benefited Most By Federal Spending, But Con's In Congress Have Other Loyalties

The following persons voted against any stimulus bill. They are all Republicans who put Party before Country. They are all elected representatives who voted against the interests of their own constituents. They are from States that receive more in Federal spending every year than their citizens pay in Federal taxes. All of these States are poor, and have severe social problems: Lowest ranked in education, poorest, shortest life expectancy, highest infant mortality. [See yesterdays post.]

These are the very States that would have benefited most from any Federal spending measures. Still, their Republican Senators and Congressmen and women voted against any such spending. They will only vote for tax breaks for the rich and foreign corporations. Let them know what you think of their voting record by phone, fax, mail or email. And don't forget to fire them on Election Day, November 2010. It's right around the corner. The Change is just gettin' started.
