Thanks again, Karin. I just read that the Louisiana National Guard is finally pulling out of New Orleans after 3.5 years. They were there there to back up the NOPD, which was decimated by the hurricane, and to try to bring order to the streets of the Big Easy, where residents still live in fear of chaos, which lurks there yet. The Guard wants to stay, and the people want them to stay, but there's no money for them. And Gov. Jindal is turning down money from the Feds. Sick. So much for his little fairy tale about "self-reliance," or whatever his stupid rebuttal was about.

Never read "The Turner Diaries," Phila. I could barely make it through the beginning of "Mein Kampf." They have disordered, irrational, ugly minds, these righty fanatics. One of them told me recently that Daylight Saving Time was actually instituted because a new Ice Age was coming. Yeah.

Actually, it's us liberals, progressives and socialists who fight all the wars, do all the work, take care of all the families. Republicans are just a bunch of shirkers & slackers, riding around in their pick-up trucks (never used to do any work) spitting tobacco juice and waiting to be told what to do by some fat rich lazy asshole like Rush Limbo and his owners on Wall Street.
