Why must you pour lemon juice into the paper cut that is my landlockedness?
Seriously, tho', what's the most secret thing about Hawaii that tourists don't know?
Funny verification word: thewit.
Yes, Cosa is The Wit. :)
Thanks for the tunes Cosa. The last Hawaiian music we've had around these parts is when PP put pineapple in the beans. That old National Steel just plain gives me the goose bumps. (G:

It's not lemon juice. It's lilikoi, haole-girl!
Anyways, the ocean is just a very wet prairie. With sharks.
Tourists don't know ANYTHING about Hawaii. And that's why we like to keep them bottled up in Waikiki, for their own protection. The most secret thing is cannibalism. Avoid the luau's!
Thanks for stopping by, Doc. E komo mai.

Aloha & Mahalo's, Geezer!
Not sure if Hawaiians invented slide/ bottleneck/ slack-key guitar or picked it up from the Mainland, somehow. Hawaiian music was very popular in the States in the early days of radio. It definitely had an influence on Country music, and prob'ly lead to the development of the pedal steel guitar.
We'll do a real all-Hawaiian classics Sunday one of these weeks soon. Thanks for stopping by.
