PEANUTS IN FLORIDA

Wow. Things are so bad now, not only do we need Jimmy Carter to monitor and certify our elections in advance, but he has refused to do so. This reminds me of the 1972 Presidential election, when Nixon, guaranteed a landslide in his second-term race against George McGovern (who lost his OWN home state, and 48 others), STILL had to cheat by pulling the Watergate burglary. Overkill. The fatal fascist flaw. If they just pulled back a little, they might get away with it. But, as they are so anally driven, they have to have complete control of everything. And so, of course, everything gets covered with their bloody, shitty fingerprints.

If Kerry had more of an actual chance, I could understand the Bushies' paranoia, though not their tactics. But, somehow, the boring intellectual war-hero and rebel with a cause is unable to pull ahead of the lifelong failure and smarmy idiot draft-dodger. If Kerry doesn't provide loaves and fishes at the debates, he's history, and a small footnote at that. Still, the Republican war machine is out there corrupting and subverting elections nationwide before they even happen.

The only remaining question is, what are YOU going to do about it, you landless peasant? You ball-less techno-surf? You quivering, weepy, hormonal security Mom? Sit back and watch while the enemy within opens us up to an endless, unwinnable war with the various enemies without? Let Bush & Co. turn us into another Israel, or South Korea, always under the gun or the car-bomb? Remember, it wasn't like this BEFORE Bush. But, of course, HE'S not responsible. He's never been responsible in his entire LIFE. So, why are you voting for him, again? Well, people get the governments they deserve, eh? Will you allow this to happen, just because they do it with an "election," not even a real election, for the SECOND time runnng? Then, you don't deserve to chortle over your much-vaunted "freedom." You've already sold it away. Cowards.
