Now, will there be an Endarkenment? I've already heard good Christians claiming that this awful tsunami was a Judgement of Gawd against the Heathen Mooslim Terrorismisticals, the fucking stoopit cracker bastards. Do they even HAVE books in Alabammy? For what, OUTHOUSE paper?

The rest of us are already Enlightened, right? So, where do we go from here? Do we recognize, finally, that it's time to stop equivocating with imbeciles, rule out all possibility of a God of any sort, and outlaw the mental illness known as Religion? Because, otherwise, the Revolution remains unfinished, and we are condemned to a relatively short eternity, wrestling with numbskulls who want to use the Bomb to bring on the Rapture.

Evangelicals love natural disasters. Especially when they happen to heathen savages, who ain't even WHITE! It just makes their little CHRISTIAN weenies hard! They get all red in the face and wet in the panties: This is fulfillment for them: Punishment of the Wicked. Never mind that Sajeet and Gupta never fucking heard of Jesus, and have a good relationship with Krishna, on their own. Never mind that Christianity has given itself a bad name through attempted conversion by the sword, or the VCR, throughout the Third World. Never mind that Jesus would be out there on the beach offering succour to the sick and the dying, grace to the suffering and the sorrowful, wine from water and loaves and fishes to the hungry and thirsty. Oh, fuck, just never mind Christianity. It always was bullshit. Christ would have agreed.

So lets take advantage of this horrible tragedy to ban all religion from the face of the Earth, forever. I mean., believe what ya wanna believe, Bubbie: Behind closed doors. Venture out in public with the spirit upon ya, and we lock yer ass up until ya sober up, just like any intoxicated person. Build thee a temple unto anybody's imaginary name, and you get lobotomized. Enuff said!
