Cosa, that is absolutely scary! Though, I thought I read that they aren't putting any money aside for homeland security at this time. I guess they need that money to fight the social security crisis. Damn! Remember when our big war was the "war on drugs". Seems like we got us a monopoly on wars right now.
Here's the scary part: Why are they acting like there is no actual terrorist threat? They let Bin Laden escape, and Al Qaeda-type cells are proliferating world-wide. They pissed off the whole Arab & Muslim world by invading Iraq for no reason, except oil. And they've done little or nothing about "homeland security." Why?
Is there a threat, or not? If not, what the Hell is this all about? The war, the torture, the detentions without trial, the suspension of civil liberties, the endless state of emergency? What is the purpose of it all? Read "MIHOP? Or LIHOP?"
