Our Feces Anniversary (No Gifts, Please)

We were doing OK, for a while there. Stats were up even in a slow time of year. Regular readership was up, and page views per visit increased. Some people even posted, once we opened up the comments. More and more web-pages were linking to us. Most all of the search engines were referring people to us, even the weird ones in Finland and China and Pago Pago. Eh, Brah, jus' kidding, yeah? No weird, Pago Pago, OK? For real.

Then the storms came. And there went the old domicile. And the car. And the little business we had going. And all the money. Thankfully, we still have a real friend or two left in the actual world, so we're not completely homeless, yet. That would be up to the real friend's girlfriend, heh-heh. Note to self: No matter how challenging it may be at times, always be nice to your friends' "significant others." And never tell them about your blog...

So, anyway, things will go on being a bit strained here for a while, unless they get a lot more strained, suddenly. (Hey, any of those crazy rich bastards out there who just send people big checks for no reason? You know, like on TV?) So, we may not be able to carry on with this all that much longer. Thanks anyway, to our friends out there in the Cyberian wastes, from Deutschland to Occupied Iraq; from sunny California to foggy old England; from the pestilential swamps of the Banana Republic of Florida to the bombed, burned, broken and currently under reconstruction island of Manahattoe, in New York Fuckin' City, Baby, yawl hang in there. It ain't THAT hard.
