"Treasonous Glenn Beck and Michael Scheuer WANT and WISH For Another Terrorist Attack in the U.S."
One of the CIA creeps who gave us 9/11 wants to give us another one.
' WIKIPEDIA: Michael F. Scheuer is a former CIA employee. In his 22-year career, he served as the Chief of the Bin Laden Issue Station (aka "Alec Station"), from 1996 to 1999, the Osama bin Laden tracking unit at the Counterterrorist Center. He then worked again as Special Advisor to the Chief of the bin Laden unit from September 2001 to November 2004. '
GOP FUNDAMENTALISTS SEEK OWN AYATOLLAH
Neocon In Charge Of Bush 9/11 Investigation Calls For Another 9/11
A Party of religious nut-jobs who use God as an excuse for whatever wild-assed behavior strikes their sick twisted fancy, the Republicans have become a sort of Hezba'Jesus, a Party of God, at least in their own minds. And these are apocalyptic, millenial, Revelations-readin', Rapture-lovin', Armageddon-welcomin', end-times-celebratin', we're-a'goin'-to-Heaven-and-yawl-ain't prayin' evangelical American fundamentalists, here. The end of everything is their best-case scenario. Is it any wonder that 9/11 happened on their watch? Or that now they want another one?
Their leaders are incredibly arrogant, even messianic, blindly hypocritical holier-than-thou haters of all who are different, dedicated to the proposition that all rich white Christian straight conservative men are created equal, and everybody else can go to Hell. If they can help open the doors to Hell, that's peachy keen with them. Do we ever want their fingers on the nukuler button again? Can you say Buck Turgidson?

"God and Mark Sanford"
The Lord Giveth, and the Lord Taketh Away the Trash.
' In his unending comments about his extramarital affair with a woman he met at a dance in Uruguay, Gov. Mark Sanford often includes spiritual references and talks of God’s will. Last week, for example, he compared himself to King David, and this week he said that God wants him to stay in office. Jon Stewart and others have ridiculed him for these statements. '

I believe in Sarah, the Mother almighty, creator of heaven and earth; She will come again to judge the living and the dead, in 2012 or 2016, dontchya know?
' More than once in my travels in Alaska, people brought up, without prompting, the question of Palin’s extravagant self-regard. Several told me, independently of one another, that they had consulted the definition of “narcissistic personality disorder” in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders—“a pervasive pattern of grandiosity (in fantasy or behavior), need for admiration, and lack of empathy”—and thought it fit her perfectly. When Trig was born, Palin wrote an e-mail letter to friends and relatives, describing the belated news of her pregnancy and detailing Trig’s condition; she wrote the e-mail not in her own name but in God’s, and signed it “Trig’s Creator, Your Heavenly Father.” '

"He's back! Guess who's coming to tea parties"
Not Joe the Not Plumber talks to Not God.
' "Americans in general have a short memory," Wurzelbacher said. "After Sept. 11 happened, we were patriots for six months, and then half of them fell off. Now there's a very real threat to our country. I don't believe any one nation can take us out, but I definitely think we can take ourselves out." Asked if he has plans to run for public office, he replied, "I hope not. You know, I talked to God about that and he was like, 'No.'" He continued, "I believe he's gotten me on this grassroots movement. If I can encourage leaders to step up, that's what I would like to do. That's a heavy role. That's something I don't know if I am prepared to do yet." But Wurzelbacher said he will keep that door open if God ever calls him to be that leader. "I just know whenever I fall off his path, things get really hard," he said. "So I just stick with what God tells me to do." '

"Sessions: GOP Insurgency "May Be Required""
At last, they're out of the closet!
' Rep. Pete Sessions (R-TX), chairman of the National Republican Congressional Committee, said "Insurgency, we understand perhaps a little bit more because of the Taliban," during a meeting yesterday with Hotline editors. "And that is that they went about systematically understanding how to disrupt and change a person's entire processes. And these Taliban -- I'm not trying to say the Republican Party is the Taliban. No, that's not what we're saying. I'm saying an example of how you go about [sic] is to change a person from their messaging to their operations to their frontline message. And we need to understand that insurgency may be required when the other side, the House leadership, does not follow the same commands, which we entered the game with." When pressed to clarify, Sessions said he was not comparing the House Republican caucus to the Taliban, the Muslim fundamentalist group. "I simply said one can see that there's a model out there for insurgency," Sessions said before being interrupted by an aide. The staffer said Sessions was trying to convey that the Republicans need to start thinking about how to act strategically from their perch in the minority. "I think insurgency is a mindset and an attitude that we're going to have to search for and find ways to get our message out and to be prepared to see things for what they are, rather than trying to do something about them," Sessions said. "I think what's happened is that the line was drawn in the sand" by Pelosi. '

"The GOP Jihad Leaderless and adrift, far-right Republicans purists are trying to purge the party of its last remaining moderates "
ULULULULULULULULULULULULULULULULULULULULULULU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
' As Specter's forced march down the gangplank makes clear, the GOP is in the midst of a reactionary spasm — one that threatens to marginalize the party for a generation to come. Rather than acknowledging the party's failed policies and reaching out to new constituencies, the GOP's dominant faction is retrenching around the anti-government, free-market, fundamentalist strain of Republicanism last championed by Barry Goldwater — who steered the party to one of its most crushing defeats in 1964. The purists are led by a group of GOP veterans who tried to bring down Bill Clinton in 1994 — including Contract With America architect Newt Gingrich, former House majority leader Dick Armey and anti-tax crusader Grover Norquist. The veterans are allied with House Minority Whip Eric Cantor, a Gingrich protégé who has emerged as the youthful face of the Party of No, as well as with stimulus-rejecting Gov. Mark Sanford of South Carolina and right-wing radio heavy Rush Limbaugh, who enforces the new GOP orthodoxy from the most feared bully pulpit in America. Together, they seek not to expand the party but to purge it. '

"The Real Lesson Of Iran -- Beware America's Republican Mullahs"
The inside scoop from a reformed Jihadi For Jesus.
' The Republicans are faulting President Obama for not taking a "strong enough stand" in support of the freedom marchers in Iran. Yet if the Republican/Religious Right/Neoconservative agenda had come to full fruition over the last 35 years the Republicans would have plunged America into our own version of the misbegotten theocracy destroying Iran today. I know. As a former Religious Right leader I worked to make America "safe" for "Christian values" and dangerous to everyone else. Thankfully I, and those like me, failed. Think this is all far fetched? Then you never sat in secret meetings with Pat Robertson or the late Dr. Kennedy -- as I did when I was a religious right leader -- fomenting plans to "bring America back to God." If we'd won America would be a slicker more dangerous version of Iran. When there are tens of thousands of Americans sitting in evangelical churches every Sunday wherein President Obama is vilified as an "abortionist," a "Communist," a "secret Muslim," and even as "the Antichrist," when the former vice president accuses our President of what amounts to treason, all because President Obama won't allow the torture of prisoners in an American version of holy war, all because he has decided it is wise to build bridges of respect to Muslim countries, we've left recognizable political territory and entered the realm of violence-inciting hate and delusion of the kind Iran's "supreme leader" indulges in. Look at Iran and give thanks that the Republican Party -- the tool of America's mullahs married to the Neocon war mongers -- is in decline and has been rejected by the American people. Work to keep America secular, free and democratic. Stay vigilant. Having failed at the ballot box the Republicans and their far right hate-filled supporters are beginning to foment violence with their crazy anti-Obama talk and hysteria. As Bob Herbert said in his NY Times (June 20) column; "I hope I'm wrong, but I can't help feeling as if the murder at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington and the assassination of the abortion doctor in Wichita, Kan., and the slaying of three police officers in Pittsburgh -- all of them right-wing, hate-driven attacks -- were just the beginning and that worse is to come." The battle between oppressive religion and freedom is not over yet-- not in Iran, nor here in America. '.
