FROM THE KOOLAID: Have you ever had an original thought in your life? Never mind original. Have you ever experienced a thought of your OWN? Are you at all susceptible to FACTS? Does REALITY ever intrude into your firmly closed, and hermetically sealed semblance of a MIND???

OK, let's try a little exercise:

Now, what would be your position on that, Rightynuts? Would you defend your country, even against collaborators? Or would you lie down and take it? Guess what? Neither would THEY. They don't get the daily Repuke talking points. Their version of reality is still, unfortunately for them, REAL.

Read some history, little man. We tried to sell this shit in the Philipine Insurgency (go read twenty books about it and then come back with yer asshole opinions) and the Vietnam War. The locals didn't buy it. It took a while, and a LOTTA blood, but they kicked our asses out.

YOU'RE wrong to have supported this shit. YOU'RE wrong to go on trying to sell it. IRAQ did not attack us. NO connection to 9/11. NO WMDs. NO Bin Laden. GET IT??? You supported MURDERING innocent civilians for NO reason. YOU'RE the Nazis in this one. Let their innocent blood be on your tiny little pin-head. Don't you have any "VALUES"???

And, why aren't YOU over there, if you support it? Stop volunteering OTHER people. Like Bush and Cheney did, in Vietnam. You're all punk-bastard remote-control WAR CRIMINALS. I support a trial in the Hague: For Bush & Cheney & Rumsfeld. That's what it's for. You're WAR CRIMINALS.

Oh, and, yes, our ghettos are full of REAL "NIGGERS, " as you and FoxNews so adroitly point out. Your attitude is plain: They're niggers, so its OK to lynch them. Here or in Iraq. Don't matter if they DID anything: They're BLACK or ARAB or SOMETHIN' "not-like-us," so, it's OK to string 'em up. Or bomb 'em. Even if they DIDN'T do it.

I'm not cherry, and I'm not selling anything. In fact, I'm not a very good German, at all.

All my life, I've wondered how a people as civilized as the Germans could have done all the horrible things they did in WWII, and the run-up. How could good, decent people just stand by and let their neighbours be slaughtered like cattle? How could they make devastating, total war on innocent civilians in countries that had never done anything to them? What were the righteous people doing, all that time?

Well, now I know: They were politely debating, always being careful not to say too much, or much too loudly. Debating, while women and children were being roasted alive, in their names. How tenuous a thing it is, civilization.

My manner is a reflection of the reality of our times: Politesse is highly inappropriate in such an environment. You certainly don't see the Republicans wasting any time on it. They'll knowingly, falsely accuse a war hero of cowardice, regardless of his Party. They'll applaud our troops, then send them into battle without the equipment to win, or even survive. And they'll keep repeating that Big Lie over and over and over again: Saddam did 9/11. We're in Iraq to prevent another 9/11.

Politeness is fine, as long as it works. So far, it hasn't. Kerry was, if anything, too damned polite. He turned out to be not much of a fighter, in the end. What we need now are fighters, not polite debaters. The only effective opposition to Hitler in Germany before he finally took full control were communists and socialist workers who were willing to go out into the streets and fight back, physically, if necessary. They lost, but they brought some small measure of honour upon what was left of German civilization. All those other, nice, quiet, polite little Kirschwasserschlucker's are counted today as mass-murderers. And so will we be, if we don't stop pussyfooting around on this mass murder in Iraq.

Don't kid yourself: That's all it is. We may assume that, as the victors, we will write the history. But history is slipping out of our hands, quickly. And no one will forget the precedents we are establishing now, when it comes time for payback. After the next 9/11, do you really think the world will give a shit?

They'll say, "Look what they did in Iraq. 100,000 innocent civilians dead. A country in ruins. And then the ayatollahs came in, and it's still in civil war. The Americans are responsible, and they'd better expect more 9/11's. They're practically begging for it. Maybe they even deserve it, who knows... Those 'Good Americans'... Where were the righteous Americans?"
