GARBAGE IN, GARBAGE OUT
PROGRAMMERS RIGGED ELECTION
Sounds Like A Problem To Me:
" But in Florida, where the 2000 election turned into a long-running drama that eventually was decided by the U.S. Supreme Court, there did not appear to be widespread e-voting problems by late afternoon in Miami Dade County or Palm Beach County, said Matthew Zimmerman, a staff attorney with the San Francisco-based Electronic Frontier Foundation, who is monitoring the situation with other volunteers in Miami.
The two main problems in those counties, which were at the center of the 2000 election controversy, have been incorrect votes being recorded by the machines and detected by voters when examining the ballot review screen; and the unwillingness of election officials to resort to paper ballots in precincts with long lines to alleviate the demand for the touch-screen machines.
'We're getting a number of cases where people are calling saying their votes got changed on the review screen. That's been the primary machine issue that's going on,' he said. 'The counties have continued to refuse to let people vote on paper ballots. The problem is people are still waiting in lines that are far too long and some of them are leaving.' "

" E-Vote Goes Smoothly, But Experts Skeptical
Many acknowledged that the hardware performed well. But software errors may have changed results, they said. The vast majority of touch screens in the United States do not produce paper records. And that means, critics say, that the machines could alter or delete ballots without anyone noticing.
'What has most concerned scientists are problems that are not observable, so the fact that no major problems were observed says nothing about the system,' said David Jefferson, a computer scientist at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory in California. 'The fact that we had a relatively smooth election yesterday does not change at all the vulnerability these systems have to fraud or bugs.'
'I've been saying all along that my biggest fear is that someone would program a machine to give a wrong answer,' said Rubin, a Johns Hopkins computer scientist. "If that were to happen, the machine would still work fine -- we just wouldn't know it.' "
"No paper trail means software glitches, tampering may go unnoticed"
This, As An Afterthought To A "Reassuring" Story:
"Election difficulties also were reported in a number of other North Carolina counties, including nearby Carteret, where 4,530 early votes were irretrievably lost."

AT LEAST, THAT'S WHAT THEY SAID
IN THE CONCENTRATION CAMPS
OK, let's cut the CRAP!
WE didn't do anything wrong: Bush did. WE didn't lose the election: BUSH did. WE don't need to change anything: BUSH needs to go to prison.
So, how do we do that?
We don't. Bush is in charge now.
But we never let anyone forget how he got there, AGAIN.
"MANDATE"? BULLSHIT!
WE'RE the MAJORITY. We've all built a network here, in opposition to Bush. Now we have to use that to fight EVERYTHING Bush tries to do. At the very least, we have to let the WORLD know that Bush is illegitimate, that his actions have no support, that he has no mandate.
Forget the election. It was a fraud, and Kerry will do nothing about it. Forget Kerry.
Remember stem-cell research. Remember a woman's right to choose. Remember global warming. Remember clean air and water. Remember Abu Graibh, and Torah Borah. Remember Terrorism. Remember the "Patriot" Acts. Remember the recession. Remember unemployment. Remember health care. Remember public education. Remember social security. Remember civil rights for everyone. Remember all of Bush's failures, crimes and misdemeanors. Remember that we are right on all the issues, and Bush is wrong. Remember, and fight harder.
We no longer have the liability of Kerry. A new political leader will emerge, when the time comes. We go on as always, leading ourselves. Doing what's right. Fighting what's wrong. Don't ever forget: Win, lose or draw, WE'RE the good guys. Always have been. Always will be. And a MAJORITY agrees with us. That's why the Bad Guys can't win without cheating.
FORTY percent of the total eligible voters supposedly did not vote. Almost THIRTY per cent voted AGAINST Bush. That leaves only THIRTY percent for them. SEVENTY percent against. It's time to organize all of that, and turn them into an effective force, to take back OUR country. We are the majority. We have the mandate. Let's use it. Start working on it NOW.
Work to stop them from ever cheating again. Work to stop them from destroying our country, and turning the entire world into corporate feifdoms. Work to go on building a permanent, unstoppable opposition to them, and all they stand for, and fail to stand for.
Work online or work in your community. Work with a political party or work with a social group. Work for peace or against homelessnes. Work. That's the answer to this. Work.
