"GUN SHOT 15 JUNE 2009 - Protest and strikes in TEHRAN - IRAN"
Here's what happens when the right wing backs religious fanatics and thugs. Pay attention, Republicans & evangelicals. This is you doing the shooting.

AND THIS IS JUST THE EVERYDAY WHACKED, NOT POPES, AYATOLLAHS, PRESIDENTS OR DEAR LEADERS

So, Take A Good Look In The Mirror, And Give Yourself an "Attaboy," or "Attagirl"! You Haven't Done Anything This Horrible, Today. Yet. (Have You?)

It's the global warming, stupid. I'm sure of it. Ever since the Ice Age, things have been going downhill. Especially glaciers. These kids, they're up all night watching fire, the teenagers want their own caves, even their own wheel as soon as they turn sixteen! Why, in my day, we walked everywhere: From river to toilet to river to toilet. OK, they weren't that far apart. Nobody wanted to walk. But these KIDS! They're killing cats and not even EATING them!

"Florida teen charged in cat killings, mutilations"
I recommend preventive detention for all "normal" people. It's always one of THEM!
' A teenager accused of killing and mutilating cats in two South Florida communities must undergo a psychiatric evaluation before he is released from jail, a judge ruled Monday. Tyler Hayes Weinman, 18, appeared at an afternoon bond hearing in a Miami-Dade County courtroom via videoconference, a day after he was charged with 19 counts each of animal cruelty and improperly disposing of an animal body and four counts of burglary related to the deaths. "The cat killings weren't something I expected of anyone who's sane," said friend Vincent Warger, 18. "With him he was a nice guy. He was friendly. It's such a violent thing. I just couldn't see it happening from him." Friend Elliot Evins lives in the same neighborhood where many of the cats were killed and has two cats himself. "He is not an angry person in the least bit. He's never erupted on anyone or shown anything that would make me nervous or be anything related to what he's accused of," Evins said of Weinman. '

"Police: Woman rams 81-year-old scam victim's car"
When sisters attack!
' Authorities said Bessie Lou Phillips was so mad her brother was sentenced to life in prison for scamming an elderly woman she followed the victim and rammed her car. Phillips, 42, was charged Tuesday with attempted aggravated assault after the unidentified victim was rammed. Police said Phillips is the sister of 41-year-old Manuel Cooper, who had just been sentenced to life without parole for obtaining money under false pretenses. Hernando Police Chief Mike Riley said Phillips followed the victim from the courthouse "then used her car to ram the car of the victim." '

"American student testifies at Italian murder trial"
A "sex game"? Like Twister? With knives?
' Knox's account of the night of the murder contrasts with that of prosecutors, who say Kercher was killed during what began as a sex game. Prosecutors say Kercher came home after an evening with friends on Nov. 1, 2007, and soon after opened the door to Knox, Sollecito and Rudy Hermann Guede, who was convicted of murder last year and sentenced to 30 years in prison. According to the prosecutors, Sollecito held Kercher by the shoulders from behind while Knox touched her with the point of a knife. They say Guede, an Ivory Coast national, tried to sexually assault Kercher and then Knox fatally stabbed her in the throat. '

"H.I.V. Found in 22 Actors in Sex Films Since 2004"
Safety engineers on a porn set? Porn producers, unethical? Risk-taking? Unhealthy? Are we talking about the same porn?
' Occupational health officials have long argued that failing to require that performers wear condoms during intercourse and other acts is a violation of safe-workplace regulations. But Deborah Gold, a senior safety engineer with the California occupational health department, said violations in the pornography industry were so widespread that the state had a difficult time cracking down. “Many of these companies have two sound stages where they do two to four scenes a day with actors hired from talent agencies,” Ms. Gold said. “In that case, it’s clearly a violation” to have performers have sexual intercourse without condoms. “We continue to try to find ways to identify those places where employees are at risk,” she said. The pornographic film industry is centered in the San Fernando Valley, northwest of downtown Los Angeles. An estimated 200 production companies in the region employ as many as 1,500 performers, making up to 11,000 films and earning as much as $13 billion a year. Some health advocates have pressed for legislation requiring condom use in sex scenes. '

"FTC Sues, Shuts Down N. Calif. Web Hosting Firm"
BAD SPAMMERS!!! BAD!!! But is a little spam really worth trashing our Fourth & Fifth Amendment rights? And no, I never take seriously any government claim of protection of children, since usually the opposite is the case, when the whole story comes out. But bravo on the spam, anyway. I guess.
' In an unprecedented move, the Federal Trade Commission has taken legal steps to shut down a Web hosting provider in Northern California that the agency says was directly involved in managing massive global spam operations. Sometime on Tuesday, more than 15,000 Web sites connected to San Jose, Calif., based Triple Fiber Network (3FN.net) went dark. 3FN's sites were disconnected after a Northern California district court judge approved an FTC request to have the company's upstream Internet providers stop routing traffic for the provider. The FTC chairman confirmed that this was the first time the agency had sought and been granted an order to shut down an Internet service provider. Botnet experts I have spoken with over the past eight months have found that 3FN housed many of the command and control networks for "Cutwail," one of the world's largest spam botnets. As late as mid-April, Joe Stewart, a botnet expert and director of malware research at SecureWorks, tracked nearly a dozen Cutwail control networks hosted at 3FN. Mark Rasch, a former cyber crime prosecutor for the Justice Department and a principal at the Arlington, Va., based Internet Law Group, said the FTC's authority gives it the power to shut down companies that appear to be engaged in unfair and deceptive practices, whereas criminal law enforcement agencies have a much higher standard for proving wrongdoing in order to convince a court to shut down an ISP. "It could be that other law enforcement organizations are using the FTC as a front in order to obtain evidence for later criminal prosecutions," Rasch said. "What's interesting about that approach is that in order for these guys to get out from under this court order, they're going to have to show that they've taken steps to clean up their act. But if there is a criminal investigation ongoing against 3FN, then anything their operators say in trying to convince a court to lift the order can and will be used against them later." '

"Burr Defends Mint-Flavored Suckable ‘Tobacco Lollipops,’ Claims They’re Not Being Marketed To Children"
Kids suck anyway.
' On May 27, CNN’s Carol Costello reported on tobacco company R.J. Reynolds new dissolvable “smokeless products.” Noting that critics call them “tobacco lollipops” that are aimed at getting “kids hooked on nicotine,” Costello reported that “R.J. Reynolds will soon test three new products — Camel sticks that dissolve as you suck them, minty tobacco strips that look like breath strips, and orbs — flavored, dissolvable tablets that some say look and taste exactly like candy.” On the Senate floor yesterday, Sen. Richard Burr (R-NC) came to the tobacco company’s defense, claiming that it wasn’t trying to deceive anyone; it’s CNN’s fault for labeling Camel Orbs as candy. Burr charged that CNN “mischaracterized the product” because “it’s not candy flavored”: '

"NYPD seeks way to let guns 'talk' to one another"
I'm thinking the undercover officers might want to disable this feature. Hey, maybe they could just issue a Departmental order: Quit shooting all the black guys!
' The New York Police Department is looking into adapting futuristic technology that would allow officers' guns to recognize one another in an effort to avoid the type of friendly fire that left a cop dead last week. Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly asked his inner circle to compile a list of department initiatives that would help prevent confrontations between fellow officers. Omar J. Edwards, 25, was killed May 28 as he chased a burglary suspect. Edwards had just left work and was dressed in street clothes and had his service weapon drawn. Three plainclothes detectives came upon the scene. When Edwards turned after Officer Andrew Dunton yelled for him to stop, he was shot, according to the NYPD. One idea involves the use of radio frequency tags that would allow officers to pinpoint where other cops are in the city, Browne said. Another involves tags that would work gun-to-gun and use an infrared sensor: When a weapon is pulled from an officer's holster it would trigger a signal that would be sent to the gun of a nearby officer. The signal may be seen or heard. '

"Man arrested, accused of threatening to kill Obama"
Well, he's right about the banking system. But the sun is 99 million miles from Earth.
' Murray recently withdrew $85,000 from a bank in St. George, Utah, in two separate visits and told a teller, "We are on a mission to kill the president of the United States," according to a criminal complaint filed in federal court in Utah. According to the complaint, Murray opened an account at Zions First National Bank on May 19 with an $85,000 check. "With all this mess going on under President Obama with banks and the economy, I'm sure if citizens happen to lose their money, they will rise up and we could see killing and deaths," he said, according to the complaint. On May 27, he returned to the bank and tried to withdraw $12,000, but lacked proper identification. "Not to be disrespectful, but if I don't get this money, someone is going to die," Murray said, according to the complaint. A bank manager was summoned and Murray was allowed to withdraw the money without proper identification. Murray would not accept a check and demanded bills no larger than $50, the complaint says. "We are 94 million miles from the sun, and are in-between the sun and moon, and the eagle that flies between them and it's a giant step for mankind. ... I have traveled thousands of miles to be here and know things that are going to happen. ... the banking system will fail and people will die. ... there will be chaos in the world," Murray said, according to the complaint. "US Watergate 'plumber' dies"
Right-wing Cubans, Nazi's, CIA, Nixon, Republicans, what's the diff? A job's a job, right?
' The team known as the "plumbers" -- tasked with stopping information leaks -- broke into the DNC office to plant microphones. The "burglars" however were surprised and later charged and convicted along with two White House advisers. Barker, the son of Americans living in Cuba, enlisted in the US Army during World War II and flew in bombing raids over Germany. He was shot down and served 18 months in a prisoner of war camp, the Herald reported. After the war he worked for the Central Intelligence Agency and helped organize anti-communist Cuban exiles in south Florida who participated in the failed Bay of Pigs operation in an attempt to topple the Fidel Castro regime in 1961. The exiles landed on a Cuban beach in April and were defeated after sustaining massive losses. Barker survived and managed to return to Florida. Barker's old boss at the CIA later recruited him for the special White House "plumbers" operations. '

Every color in the rainbow seemed to be coming out of it." '

"Australia's troops aghast at Dutch food"
And this from baby-killers who eat Vegemite. What the Hell is IN Dutch food???!!!
' "I think the issue is that it's not Aussie food, it's European food. It's true that people have been quite strong in their views about the European food," Australia's military commander Air Chief Marshal Angus Houston told lawmakers at a special defence budget hearing. '

"Australia's Vegemite gets 1st makeover in 85 years"
Vegemite is in and of itself an horrendous crime. But Dutch food is worse, apparently.
' Vegemite — a salty, slightly bitter spread made from brewer's yeast — is such a part of Australian lifestyle that it even made mention as a sandwich in the 1980s hit song "Down Under" by Men at Work. Australians spread it on toast or crackers, top it with tomatoes or avocados, use it to flavor soups and gravies, pack a jar when traveling and write home for more when living abroad. '
