UNFUN MANDATES

.
"PRIVATIZATION" SACRIFICES THE PUBLIC WEAL TO PRIVATE WEALTH

BUSH BOOBY TRAPS STILL GOING OFF NATIONWIDE

In Honolulu, Our Annual Veterans' Memorial Easter Tribute Makes Republican Hit-List

But then, conservatives never did love this country. They HATE our troops, even the dead ones; and of course those "benefit-sucking" veterans who survived the wars. So why would they want a bunch of really old people to be able to get on a City bus to Punchbowl National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, our Arlington, and visit the graves of their loved ones, killed in combat, defending our country? Well, they DON'T.

Just on the off chance that some money-grubbing Republican scumbag might want to overcharge these mourners for a ride up to the crater, laying on special once-a-year public buses is henceforth verboten, by Bushco Federal Law. So are the buses to the Pro-Bowl from Waikiki now, a service that had been provided to the unusually large crowds of football fans that come here from all over the world for the biggest party all year. The Repukelickins would prefer that all of them rented cars or limo's or cabs and jammed all our highways, which happen to converge right at the Aloha Stadium, resulting in massive gridlock. Why? Because some Republican *ssh*le MIGHT want to squeeze our guests for a few more bucks in transportation funds.

This new law, left on our national landscape like so many other Repuke turds by the sh*t-*ssed Bush people, also affects your home State. If your City, County or State wanted to do ANYTHING with Federal money, i.e., YOUR tax dollars, that benefitted you at the expense of some rich *ssh*le, the Republican law says "F**K YOU," buddy. Unless you're the rich *ssh*le. In which case, no, f*ck YOU! as far as we're concerned.

We once took a couple of tourists up to Punchbowl who couldn't find a ride up there otherwise. It was a guy of about sixty and his Mom, a lady in her eighties. She had married a young sailor in NYC just after the attack Pearl Harbor, and the new husband soon got deployed to the war in the Pacific. He was killed in action. She never saw him again. He left her with a son, now 60, whose only glimpse ever of his war-hero Dad was the name on the tombstone laid in the ground at Punchbowl. They weren't rich people. They'd had to scrimp and save for years to come to Hawaii all the way from New Jersey. Neither mother nor son had ever been here before, and they would probably never make it here again. They were only in Hawaii for one day, and they went straight to the airport from the cemetery. They weren't tourists at all. They just wanted to pay their respects to a father and a husband lost a half century before, when he was just a boy, really, compared to his son today, who knelt at his grave to pray for his eternal soul in his only opportunity ever to connect with the man who had made him. After 60 years.

These are the kind of people, the kind of scenes that the Repukelickins wanted to put a stop to, unless they can make a buck out of it. This is what you voted against. Don't forget it. If it makes no sense at all to you, you're just not thinking. The 'Pukes do sh*t like this because they want to destroy your country, and sell it off for scrap, then move on to Brazil or China or wherever they can make a quick buck at the expense of honest working people. They want to skim off all the cream of our health care system, our education system, our transportation systems, etc; all the basic functions of the Common Weal we invest in our government. They want to divert money from public institutions, like the Post Office, to private companies, like Federal Express. Once the most lucrative business has been siphoned off, the Post Office collapses. If it works there, it'll work on our schools and hospitals and bus lines, etc. And the reason? Profit. Money. The private, personal wealth of a privileged few at the expense of your publicly-owned services. Once those vital public services are gone, the rich can REALLY get rich, emptying our pockets and our Treasury into private companies that will charge us as much as they possibly can, and shove us out if we can't afford it. There's your Republican future, folks. There's your "Shining City on the Hill."

Keep pumping in those quarters if you want the lights to stay on!
