If An Historic F*ck-Up Can Get Advanced Degrees From TWO Of The World Elite's Prep-Schools, What are Their Degrees Worth, in 2009 Prestige? N-A-D-A!!!
Soon-To-Be-Ex-President George Walker Bush (that's what "Dubya" stands for, ya lower-middle-class twit ya, as in the USGA's "Walker Cup," and international investment banking) has announced his intention to sue the combined faculties of Yale University, a private college in New Haven, Connecticut, and the Business School at Harvard University, a private college in Cambridge (no relation to the college in the UK), Massachusetts for breach of contract resulting in a failed Presidency.
Deceased attorney Johnny "If the MBA don't fit, you must refund the tuition for it" Cochran will be handling the case, from the Ultimate Court in Hell. If it succeeds, class actions by all failed Ivy League grads may result. Lawyers are already scouring Wall Street and Detroit for potential "victims" and ginormous fees.
In summing up the endless Bush II Administration, which is, against all odds, ending, questions rise as to how Bush II got the job in the first place, and the second place. "Dubya" was a funny little man with a fake but genuinely ignorant Texas accent from a wealthy fifth-tier plank-holder family from Connecticut. Yet he beat a far more qualified Ivy Leaguer with a real Southern accent. Maybe Yankee lineage still means something to the people who actually pick our Presidents.
"Dubya" allowed the worst attack on US soil since the War of 1812, saved only by the crash of United flight 93 from an second burning of the White House itself, and then did nothing about it. Instead, Bush II fronted a war for the oil companies which actually hurt America's capacity for self-defense, and together Big Awl and Li'l Dubya ruined the economy doing it. Although he had deserted the Air Force during the Vietnam War, he beat an actual war-hero to be re-elected AFTER all this! Of course, the war-hero's grandparents were immigrants.
Even Dumbya's daddy, Bush I (Yale, 1948), who allowed the first World Trade Center bombing to go forward (even as his FBI stood "helplessly" by, watching and waiting until Clinton was inaugurated), was not quite as colossal a failure. Daddy was just a really lousy President, not a REALLY REALLY lousy President. Still, they were both graduates of Yale AND Phillips, a spanking academy somewhere in Massachusetts. Can any rich idiot get degrees at these schools? (Can we ALL get all our money back?)
The business of "legacies" must come under scrutiny now. Two schools in Texas rejected Dubya's application before he resorted to Harvard & Yale. Admitting an advanced moron just because he or she is wealthy and well-connected tends to dilute the effect of a degree from institutions such as Harvard, Princeton, Yale, Dartmouth, Penn, Cornell, Columbia and the rich-girls sorta-equivalents.
Entree to the inner circles of wealth and power is still guaranteed by admission to an Ivy League school, but just to those with advanced hereditary connections. The degree itself serves only as a free pass to the show, not a promise of real power or participation in the show. Such a degree certainly does not guarantee that the bearer will be able to perform competently. And now a black man with similar degrees, the son of an immigrant, has succeeded Bush. Does genealogy mean nothing, any more? Of course, that's not Dubya's fault. Oh, wait, yes it is!
Maybe the "Ivies" should sue Bush. Ipso m'f'in' facto, beeyatch!
